I get their lunch special all the time, amazing value. I ordered pick up on Mother’s Day and they even gave me a rose to take home to my mom. Amazing food, amazing staff
What a wonderful restaurant. Can't wait to go back. Sampled a few of their dishes and loved every one of them. I expected it to be good but it was even better than I imagined.
BEST FIND!!! We went here and ordered takeout on Christmas. This place was so busy! We LOVED all of the food we ordered and we got so many different things. Everything was so delicious. This is going to be my new fav Chinese restaurant. On Christmas, they were trying to handle all the crowds and we appreciate their hard work! I can’t stop thinking about the food ever since we ate it. You rock! Hands down this is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.
I have both dined in and gotten take out from YOLO Cafe, and the food is delicious every single time. My family is especially fond of their chow foon. This is the kind of spot everyone hopes to have in their neighborhood shopping center!
Picked up a takeout order, and I paused mid-meal so that I could write this review. My wife and I are new to the area, desperately searching for our go-to Chinese place. THIS IS IT. Yolo Cafe is fantastic. The scallion pancakes and fried rice are amazing. We will absolutely be returning, many more times!
I celebrated my friend’s birthday at this restaurant and everyone was satisfied and happy about the food and service. We ordered kung pao chicken, beef and broccoli, Sichuan-style fish filet, and several specialty drinks. Everything was delicious, especially the drinks. They exceeded our expectations. The food portion was better than most of other Chinese restaurants and the price was reasonable too. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Gaitherburg/Germantown areas. Highly recommended.
BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER! we just moved here from Indiana and ate here. The food was so good, our server was attentive and friendly. Someone came out and gave my littles toys to play with. I can’t wait to visit again and try more
Ordered take out and it was very good! Nice amount of heat and spice! One dish was extra hot and one was medium. Both were perfect Food was hot and ready. Nice sized portions. Staff was pleasant
It’s sad that happy uncle retired but YOLO cafe has renovated the whole place, provided better service, more food choices with some vegan options. We normally order same food we did when it was happy uncle but lately we’ve been trying new menus. My wife loves the salty and spicy pork chop, made it easier to eat with smaller cuts, spice enough and less breading. I like there vegetarIan beef mixed veggies , i just hope they add more veggies on it. I also like there vegetable soup noodles!
Honestly I couldn’t wait to write this review❤️ I have been looking for my childhood memory Chinese food restaurants for yearssss! Guessss what we found it at YOLO Cafe!! And I am so thankful to God to find Yolo Cafe🎉 As soon as I called to make the order over the phone Leo was so helpful and sweet. She has excellent customer service over the phone and in person. Thank you so much Leo for everything. I ordered Veggie Chinese Fried Rice with Hunan Shrimp (this was sooooo delicious and flavorful shrimp with veggies medium hot), beef egg rolls (the best I’ve had, it had the flavor when I was a child, crispy and flavorful), we also got “Sesame chicken with white meat and light batter (it was sooooooo delicious and very flavorful), egg drop soup was amazing! Everything was amazing!!!!! Hannah, her team, the chef’s did an amazing job❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It’s my husband and I’s 7 year anniversary and this was the most delicious Chinese food we could have for our celebration. The last time my husband and I had this experience was when we were children. This bought tears to our eyes, the restaurant is very homey, excellent service, excellent food!!! We also got to meet Hannah the owner and she was so sweet and kind. Thank you Hannah for everything we really had an amazing experience at the restaurant with you, the food was amazing and we loved the whole experience.
